Art Official Media publishes and distributes urban-related media. We distribute by applying non-traditional methods (street marketing, hand to hand) combined with major wholesalers (Baker and Taylor and Lightning Source Inc.).

Contact via snail mail or email if your company seeks distribution for your media product and to submit (news article, profile, short story, creative nonfiction essay) for publication in the Urbania Magazine.

Submission Guidelines

Art Official Media accepts manuscripts submitted directly by authors as well as those submitted through literary agents. However, all manuscripts must follow our submission guidelines which are detailed below and should be mailed to:

Submission Guidelines:

1. Please ONLY submit the first three chapters of the manuscript. All three chapters should be double-spaced and easily legible.

2. Include a summary of what the story is about and also include what it is that you intend for the reader to gain after they have read your story. (Please limit this to one single spaced page).

3. Include a self addressed stamped envelope if you would like to receive a letter of receipt.

4. Submissions/Manuscripts will not be returned.

5. Do not contact us for status updates. If we are interested in receiving your full manuscript, we will contact you via email or telephone.

If these requirements are not followed, we will not be able to process your submission.

What we’re looking for: 

Nonfiction, business, health, how-to, biographies, literary essays, memoirs, compelling street fiction, horror, suspense/thrillers, mystery series, young adult fiction, children’s stories or any other story you feel is trailblazing and breaks new ground.
